Former IBF Lightweight world champion, Richard Commey, will return to the ring next month to face powerhouse and former dual lightweight champion, Vasiliy Lomachenko.
The bout, which has been set for December 11, will be the first major bout for both fighters since they both lost their world titles to Teofimo Lopez.
Renowned boxing promoters, Top Rank, after months of discussions, finally announced the bout details on Monday.

The bout is set to headline the night’s action, with Top Rank chairman, Bob Arum, describing it as ‘highly anticipated’.
“It is only fitting that the great Lomachenko headlines boxing’s highly anticipated return to Madison Square Garden,” said Top Rank chairman Bob Arum.
“However, Richard Commey can never be counted out, as he’s a tough fighter who carries huge power in both hands.
Commey, who registered a knockout victory over Jackson Marinez earlier this year in his first bout since losing to Teofimo Lopez, will be hoping to get past Lomachenko, in his quest to recapture the world title.
Nico Ali Walsh, the grandson of Muhammad Ali, and Xander Zayas, the Puerto Rican prospect, will also feature on the same night.
