Ghanaian artiste, Sony Achiba says he would have had a better life if he had pursued his ambitions of becoming a footballer.
According to the hip-dia originator, he was a footballer before opting to venture into music.
Speaking in an interview with Ghana Weekend, Achiba said he could not continue with his football career because he got injured on his eye and after undergoing surgery, he was advised by his doctor not to play football again.
He also said that the injury to his eye directed his passion to music and dance, where he produced some hit songs like “Maba”, “fufuo” among others.
After releasing three albums, he relocated to London to pursue other interests, go to school and do music sparingly.
Currently, he works for a company that deals in building materials.
