Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu is in ‘stable condition and not in danger’ after he was rushed to hospital in Elmina after suffering from illness during the Ghana Premier League game between the Phobians and Elmina Sharks.
This is the second time the double-winning coach has had challenges while on coaching duties in a league game.
In January 2020, the former player was rushed to the hospital while working as head coach of Medeama SC during a league game against AshantiGold.
Citi Sports has been informed the coach is currently in a stable condition and is not any danger.
But he still remains in hospital for continuous monitoring from doctors.
Gladson Awako scored on his debut to hand the Phobians a 1-0 win over Sharks, their first of the season.
