Ghana captain, Andre Ayew, has been excluded from training on Wednesday, two days before the Black Stars take on Gabon in their second group game.
Citi Sports‘ Benjamin Nketsia reported from Cameroon that Ayew has not joined the rest of the squad for today’s session.
The forward suffered a pretty significant head injury late in the game against Morocco, which resulted in his bleeding head having to be bandaged.

After the match, the player himself admitted that he was unwell before kick-off against Morocco but was desperate to play the game.
“I have been sick for a few days but I thank God I was able to be on the pitch today with the boys,” he said.
“I wanted to play even though I knew I was not fully ready.”
The Black Stars will be desperate to pick up all three points having lost their first game of AFCON 2021 1-0 to Morocco on Monday.
They will hope to have their captain back for the game as, despite not making much of an impact on the offensive end, Ayew was crucial on defence for the Black Stars against the Atlas Lions.
