Ghana’s U-20 women’s national side, the Black Princesses have begun camping at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram ahead of the final round of qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The Princesses’ 7-1 aggregate win over Uganda, which included a 5-0 win at the Cape Coast Stadium, booked them a place in the final round of qualifiers.
Ghana will now face Ethiopia in a two-legged tie for a place at the tournament in Costa Rica this year.
The first leg will be played in Addis Ababa on March 12, with the second leg being played two weeks later on March 26.
The Princesses have made it through to every World Cup since 2002 and will hope to boke one of Africa’s two slots for the tournament in Costa Rica.
Nigeria and Senegal face each other in the other tie.
