Serial Austrian champions, Red Bull Salzburg have officially announced the signing of Ghana midfielder Lawrence Agyekum.
The 18-year-old arrives from Ghana Premier League (GPL) side West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) SC where he recorded five goals and three assists in 41 competitive appearances.
The “Bulls” announced the signing of the “promising talent” on Monday.
Agyekum has been given a four-and-a-half-year contract – thus running until June 30, 2026.

Agyekum will initially start life in Austrian football as a cooperation player at feeder club FC Liefering in the second division.
Red Bull Salzburg and WAFA SC have built a solid partnership over the years and that has seen the Ghanaian side now transfer as many as six young players from their talent hub.
The likes of Samuel Tetteh, Amankwah Forson, Majeed Ashimeru, Daniel Owusu and Gideon Mensah are five other players who moved from Sogakope to Mozart.
