Joachim Yaw Acheampong has quit Eleven Wonders two days after the club drew goalless with WAFA in the Ghana Premier League.
The draw meant that Wonders remain second from bottom and Acheampong has left his role as head coach.
The former AshantiGold and Elmina Sharks gaffer joined the club on October 2021 after he was sacked as assistant coach by Medeama.
“I Joachim Yaw Acheampong wish to inform you of my decision to resign from my position as the head coach of Eleven Wonders Football Club due to personal reasons and some emergency circumstances beyond my control,” Acheampong wrote in a letter delivered to the club.
“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve the club, not forgetting the entire playing body, supporters and the good people of Techiman”.
Wonders are desperate to avoid the drop as they currently occupy the 17th spot with 16 points after 16 games.
