Ghana’s Women’s U-17 team, the Black Maidens, will embark on a training tour of Egypt later this month.
The tour is part of their preparations for their upcoming World Cup Qualifier next month against Senegal, the Ghana Football Association has announced.
The Maidens will leave on 14th February and return a week later on 21st February. The Maidens have been to the last 6 World Cups and are primed to qualify for a 7th if they can overcome their Senegalese counterparts.
The GFA has deemed this trip necessary as the Maidens need as much preparation as possible to make sure their World Cup streak stays alive.
