Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Nartey Ogum says the team will be aiming to play at a higher level in the 2nd round of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors ended the first round at the summit of the league table, seven points above 2nd place Bechem United.
Nartey however believes the team will play much better in the second round and has called for his team to remain focused.
“We will step up our performance, we are going to step up our training and the way we do things and I’m sure we will play better in the second round.” He said.
“We have another round of 17 matches to go, so it’s not over,
“We need to stay focused and avoid complacency.
The second round of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season will begin on Saturday 26 February, 2022, with Kotoko taking on Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
