The Ghana Premier League’s leading scorer, Franck Mbella Etouga has been named on the shortlist for January’s Player of the Month Award.
Asante Kotoko’s leading marksman scored five goals last month, including a hat-trick in their win over Accra Lions.
Etouga also picked up two MVP awards in January’s matches.
His run of excellent form has enabled Kotoko to strengthen their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
He’ll have to contend with two other players who have been in equally great form.
Ashgold’s Yaw Annor scored four goals in January and took home one MVP award as his club rose steadily up the table last month.
Karela Utd’s Umar Bashiru also ended the month with four goals and one MVP award.
The winner will be named on the GFA’s News programme on Friday, February 25, 2022, and will receive a NASCO television set and a personalised trophy.
