Sulley Muntari scored his first goal since moving to Accra Hearts of Oak in their 2-1 win over WAFA in the Ghana Premier League.
Muntari was on target from the penalty spot to help the defending champions to their first win in five league games.
Hearts took the lead just after the break through Kwadwo Obeng Jnr but they were pegged back 10 minutes later from a freekick.
Muntari then stepped up in the 74th minute after Patrick Razak was brought down in the box by WAFA keeper Osei Bonsu and scored.
The former Black Stars midfielder has a goal and an assist in the league since moving to Hearts and won his first trophy last week after the Phobians beat Asante Kotoko in the President’s Cup.
The result takes the Phobians up into fifth place, but they are still 12 points behind league leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
