The current best coach in the league and Ghana Premier League’s defending champion, Samuel Boadu will play his fourth Super Clash as head coach for the rainbow outfit.
He was given the nod as a head coach of the Continental Club Masters, Accra Hearts of Oak at the second round of the season after parting ways with Moses Parker’s Medeama Football Club.
He laid-out a first-rate stunt in the previous season which he automatically won the Premier League trophy for the first time in his career.
Enroute to the ultimate glory last year, he pipped Asante Kotoko at Accra Sports Stadium credit to a spectacular goal by Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, being his first Super Clash and a winner at his first attempt.
Asante Kotoko displayed a better performance throughout the first round of the current season so the stakes were high as Dr. Ogum met Mr. Boadu at Accra Sports Stadium but failed to beat the rainbow outfit.
Hearts and Kotoko played a goal less draw in the first round of the season when Hearts looked out of form when the league season began.
The confidence for Samuel Boadu against Kotoko grew up to the highest state and made a declaration to the media after the game, without fear and scare, he said Kotoko can’t outplay any team he will parade against them not even an Auroras team of Hearts of Oak.
He again met Kotoko in some few weeks to battle out for a winner of the President’s Cup which his team stood resolute again, they secured the trophy after beating Kotoko by two goals to one when the President was present at the stadium.
He will play against Dr. Ogum for the fourth time since joining Hearts of Oak, can he keep on with this achievement in the league as they battle for three points which will elevate their position on the league table.
