The manager, who in Ghana has won the MTN FA Cup twice in a row, responded to a statement made by Salifu Ibrahim’s player agency.
Last Monday, Mr. Asiedu, the player agent for Ghanaian footballer Salifu Ibrahim, often known as Di Maria, made a statement on Oyerepa FM.
In an interview with Oyerepa FM, Mr. Asiedu said that Salifu’s injury and absence from active football were brought on by coach Samuel Boadu’s use of a poor tactical formation at Accra Hearts of Oak at the start of the previous campaign.
Salifu’s agent, who has never kept quiet about his client’s injury issue, spoke with Precise FM on July 28, 2022, Mr. Asiedu told Precise Sports, “Coach Samuel Boadu doesn’t even call Salifu Ibrahim to check up on him on his injury update.”
In January 2022, during Hearts’ 1-1 Ghana Premier League match with Karela United, Salifu Ibrahim, age 21, sustained an ankle injury.
He sustained a critical injury during the game and was stretchered off, missing the rest of the season, in January of this year, he played against Karela United at the CAM Park in his final game in the Ghana Premier League.
Coach Samuel Boadu is now participating in preseason training with the team in Ghana’s capital, videos and pictures from Hearts of Oak’s preseason show teamwork in the locker room and efficient workout routines, especially Isaac Mensah having fun with the coach.
The head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak used the phrase “Fuck You” live on the program while speaking to Sometymer on Today’s Sports, the coach quickly interrupted the interview on Friday morning because he was so enraged he had to hang up the phone.
The host of the Sports Show questioned Samuel Boadu about Mr. Asiedu’s remarks, “He, as the player-manager to the player (Salifu Ibrahim), did not believe that the player was working with a coach; he had to practice patience, but he complained on the radio that my techniques and tactics had damaged him.” What the fuck!!!”
