Black Stars’ top goal scorer at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Mohammed Kudus, has shown a remorseful appreciation to Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the current Member of Parliament for the Takoradi constituency in the Western Region of Ghana.
Mohammed Kudus who started his juvenile football at Right to Dream Academy from Madina in Accra was the first Ghanaian player to achieve two goals in a World Cup game.
He is also the only Ghanaian to have received the Most Valuable Player Award at the World Cup in Qatar, and he intelligently won a penalty kick against Uruguay in the World Cup’s final group gameplay.
Kudus was undoubtedly Ghana’s most incredible performer at the Mundial after scoring two goals and assisting in Ghana’s World Cup campaign.
The 22-year-old scored two goals against South Korea and assisted captain Andre Ayew in Ghana’s 3-2 loss to Portugal, and his market value has risen as a result of his performance, with many European teams reportedly interested in his services ahead of the winter transfer window.
Back home, Ajax star Mohammed Kudus has also been recognized, with Darko-Mensah bestowing a commemorative gold medal on him for his efforts, and during the presentation, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ernest Nuamah of FC Nordsjaelland were also present.
Kudus Mohammed, a midfielder for the Black Stars, received a Commemorative Gold Coin Medal on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from Western Regional Minister, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah.
The presentation at the office of the Member of Parliament, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, was made on behalf of the Ghana Gold Expo to Kudus in recognition of his contribution to the Black Stars at the World Cup.
