Representatives from the teams that are currently in the competition were present to watch the events of the draw for the Round of 16 matches at the studios of Max TV in Accra.
Asante Kotoko, a nine-time MTN FA Cup champion, will play Aduana Football Club away from home in the competition’s round of 16 later this month.
Aduana Stars will host the red army at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dormaa because the draw pitted the Porcupine Warriors against the Ogya lads.

In their most recent meeting, former Asante Kotoko winger Emmanuel Gyamfi was caught in sporting misconduct against Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Frederick Asare, for which the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee handed him a five-game ban and a fine of two thousand Ghana cedis (GHc2, 000).
Aduana defeated Bofoakwa Tano to advance to the round of 16, while Kotoko defeated Benab FC by a score of 2-1 in the round of 32 of the cup competition.

In an all-Premier League match, Real Tamale United (RTU) will take on Samartex FC at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.
In the southern zone, Dreams FC, which eliminated holder Accra Hearts of Oak, will face a Division one side, Liberty Professionals, with the hopes of making it into the quarterfinal stage for the very first time.
The Premier League team Kotoku Royals will settle differences with the Ebusua Dwarfs, while Legon Cities will play Volta Rangers.
