Medeama Sporting Club, the 2022-2023 betPawa Premier League champions, provided an image of the TNA Stadium last Sunday night.
Following an assessment, the Ghana Football Association’s Licensing Committee unanimously granted Medeama SC a license to compete in the 2023-2024 CAF Inter-club competitions on June 22, 2023.
In an interview with Asempa FM, Moses Armah Parker, the president of Medeama, hinted that if the TNA Stadium was not ready for use, the team might use the Cape Coast Sports Stadium instead.
“The entire community is eager to support the stadium’s completion, but if we are unable to complete it on time, our next option will be the Cape Coast Sports Stadium. The people of Tarkwa, on the other hand, want us to play our games there. Gold Fields has already invested a significant amount of money in the club, and they are committed to assisting us in completing the stadium on time,” Moses Parker explained, emphasising the importance of the stadium’s readiness for CAF competitions.
The management, which has demonstrated its commitment to participating in the CAF inter-club competition, has established a number of committees to ensure the success of their participation, including a 10-member Planning Committee for the CAF Champions League, a Sponsorship Committee for the Africa campaign, a seven-member Ticketing, Security, and Safety subcommittee, and others.
A photograph posted on Medeama Sporting Club’s official Twitter account, @MedeamaSC, demonstrated the management’s commitment to supporting the team’s participation in the CAF Inter-club competition.
“Good Evening from the TNA Stadium.”
