West Ham United, the UEFA Europa Conference League winners in 2022–2023, are reportedly keen on signing Ghana's magical Mohammed Kudus.
Ajax Amsterdam and West Ham United are negotiating a transfer deal, with an initial deal worth €41.5 million (£35.4 million) plus €3 million (£2.56 million) in performance-related add-ons.
The hardworking editors at www.atspo.com can suggest that Kudus, who has started both Eredivisie matches for the Dutch club this season, scoring in the first and providing an assist in the second, is open to a move to the London Stadium.
Since Kudus, a Ghana international who played for his country at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, has entered the final two years of his contract, David Moyes and West Ham United have considered him a suitable replacement for Declan Rice.
It appears that Ajax is hesitant to part with Kudus. However, it seems that personal negotiations for a five-year agreement will be finalized by the end of the week.
A senior football journalist at Sky Sports, Peter Smith, has described Ghana’s phenomenal Mohammed Kudus’s inclusion at West Ham United, saying that Kudus’s flexibility would be an exciting asset for Moyes.
Smith recalled Kudus’ exploits against Liverpool in a Champions League game and how he can fit in at East London.
“Mohammed Kudus’ screamer for Ajax against Liverpool in the Champions League last season was an eye-catching moment. But the Ghana midfielder will be turning heads on a regular basis in the Premier League if his move to West Ham goes through,” Smith predicted of Kudus’s career in the English Premier League.
Interestingly, Barcelona recently approached Ajax with a €40 million bid for Mohammed Kudus in an initial loan deal this summer, but Ajax rebuffed the bid, despite the player’s €40 million price tag.
