At the post-match press conference last Sunday night, Tanko responded to Atakorah Raphael’s question about the decision to play George Amonoo on the right wing.
“The player who came in for Amonoo is a central midfielder; he does not play on the wings.” So, therefore, he (Amonoo) is somebody who does those jobs; he (Amonoo) can play both left and right midfield, so that’s why I pushed him there,” Tanko explained his tactical shifts to the editor of www.atspo.com.
Tanko also stated that former Elmina Sharks midfielder George Amonoo can play various roles for his team.
“He (Amonoo) can play multiple roles on the field,” he added.
