The Black Stars of Ghana will play a friendly game against the Fennec Foxes of Algeria in Qatar ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations which is scheduled for January 9, 2022 to February 6, 2022.
Citi Sports sources have confirmed that the Algerian Football Association and the Ghana Football Association have concluded agreements for the said game to take place in Doha, where both teams will set up camp ahead of the tournament in Cameroon.
Verbal agreement has been reached between the two powerful football associations, with only the officially signing of contract papers remaining.

The date of the said international friendly game is yet to be revealed.
Ghana will be hoping to end its four-decade AFCON winning drought when they compete with the best of the continent in January.
Ghana has been paired alongside Morocco, Comoros and Gabon in Group C.
