Serbian American trainer, Mike Stankovic, together with Awal Kamin Salifu and two others have joined the Black Stars technical team ahead of the Africa Cup Of Nations.
According to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the four individuals were added after Head Coach Milovan Rajevac’s request.
Mike Stankovic is a former Yugoslavia defender who played in the Major League Soccer (MLS) for a period of 18 years before taking up coaching in 1991.
Stankovic also served as an assistant to Milovan Rajevac during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa where Ghana exited at the quarter final stage after losing to Uruguay on penalties.
Awal Kamin Salifu is a performance video analyst who was attached to the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana and Nordsjaelland FC in Denmark.
The two others, whose names were not mentioned are scouts who will work directly with Milovan Rajevac in the course of the tournament.
The quartet have already arrived in Doha, Qatar and have begun working with the team.
Ghana will play Morocco in the first Group C game on January 10, before facing Gabon and then Comoros in Garoua.
