Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu believes a lapse in concentration is to blame for his side’s 1-0 loss to Karela United.
The Defending Champions succumbed to a third defeat of the 2021/2022 season at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday.
The game seemed to be heading for a goalless stalemate after 90 minutes of regular time, however, a late goal in added time from Umar Bashiru, handed all three points to the home side.
Samuel Boadu spoke after the game.
“Lack of concentration in the latter part of the game, led to us conceding the goal.” Boadu said.
After 13 games played, Hearts of Oak sit in 8th place on the league log, level on points with Karela United (20) with a game in hand against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
