Following the 1-0 win over Medeama on Sunday, Asante Kotoko Head Coach, Prosper Nartey Ogum has described his side’s performance as the best thus far in the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.
George Mfegue scored in the 78th minute to secure victory for his side, extending their lead at the top to six points.
Speaking after the game, Prosper Nartey said he was impressed with his team’s display at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
“I saw the best of my team today”. He said
“I think this is the best performance I have see, especially in the first half.
“We were dominant and controlled the tempo of the game, we were just on top of the game especially in the first half.
Kotoko sit at the summit of the Ghana Premier League with 30 points from 13 games, with a game in hand against Accra Hearts of Oak.
