The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has dismissed a complaint filed by Division One side, Nzema Kotoko against fellow DOL side, Future Stars.
Nzema Kotoko had claimed that Future Stars had “fielded an unqualified official” during their league match at the weekend.
However, after perusing the reports of the match officials, the GFA’s Disciplinary Committee found that an unpicked Future Stars entered the “inner perimeter” and was promptly ordered out by the fourth official.
The DC ruled that the player “cannot be deemed as an unqualified official” and threw out the protest.
They, however, recommended that the player, who was unnamed in the GFA’s statement, be charged for misconduct.
The Committee also decided against awarding any costs in favour of Future Stars.
