The Black Maidens continued preparations ahead of the U-17 World Cup Qualifiers with a brilliant 3-0 win over Morocco in a friendly.
The Maidens took the lead in the 17th minute when Stella Nyamekye scored from a Zuleiha Fuseini cross at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Georgina Ayisha Aoyem then scored a wonderful solo goal just before half-time to double Ghana’s lead.
Mariam Matiti Iddi put the result beyond doubt three minutes after the break, slotting home to make it 3-0.
It was a great result for the Maidens who are looking to make it through to their seventh-straight World Cup.
The Maidens face Senegal next month in a two-legged tie.
They have never failed to make an U-17 Women’s World Cup since the competition’s inception in 2008 and have reached the quarter-finals at the last three tournaments.
