The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko’s Gameweek 19 matches in the Ghana Premier League have been postponed.
Following their action-packed 0-0 draw in the league match on Sunday, the two teams will face off again for the President’s Cup next month.
With the game set to take place on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium, the sides’ matches in the league have had to be moved to accommodate it.
Kotoko will now face Bechem United on March 8 while Hearts take on WAFA on March 9 in Accra.
“All stakeholders are to note that all other matches slated for Match Day 19 in the Ghana Premier League will go on as scheduled,” the GFA said in its statement.
Asante Kotoko are currently seven points clear at the top of the Ghana Premier League table with defending champions Hearts of Oak 12 points behind their arch-rivals in seventh.
