Asante Kotoko Board Member, Evelyn Nsiah-Asare has disclosed to the fans of Asante Kotoko that she will watch the game between Hearts of Oak on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the yellow stands instead of her usual position at the VIP stands at the stadium.
Evelyn, a member of the Hassacas Ladies Management Committee that lost the CAF Women’s Champions League to Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies last year is optimistic Kumasi Asante Kotoko will win the ongoing Ghana Premier League but the cherry on the cake would be to earn a win over the Phobians.
The lecturer at Sunyani Technical University spoke to Eugene Adu Poku (striker) on Oyerepa FM and Oyerepa TV sports talk show dubbed Today’s Sports, she stated that the team has pledged to give a better scoreline in the biggest game of the Premier League.
In her desire to lure the numerous fans of the club to be at the stadium on Sunday, she confidently declared that she will watch the proceedings of the match from the centerline with the fans.
The supporter’s patronage of the club’s league games at their home ground is very low and she charged the supporters that the turn-up to Sunday’s Super Clash has to be of the attendance in 2003 when Kotoko hosted Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco.
Evelyn was emphatic she will be present on Sunday and she added which of the stands she will be positioned to watch the game.
“I will be at centerline on Sunday, I will be at centerline since I want to see my supporters so we sing and jubilate together, at exactly 3:00 pm I will have in hand a centerline ticket for the big game.”
