Everton is allegedly close to signing Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus, the 22-year-old is set to travel to Liverpool early Saturday morning in order to complete a loan deal to the Toffees.
According to information acquired by the editing staff of www.atspo.com, the agents of the Ghanaian international met with Ajax officials on Monday to request that their client leave the club.
In 2020, Kudus transferred from the Danish club Nordsjaelland to the Eredivisie giants, where he has since made 45 appearances and scored six goals, the Blues will have the option to make the deal permanent at the conclusion of the season, Paul Joyce, the newspaper’s Northern Football Correspondent, also revealed in a tweet.
It has been agreed that the player would be loaned to Everton in an effort to find consistent playing time given that he will represent Ghana at the World Cup.
After the permanent signings of James Tarkowski, Dwight McNeil, and Amadou Onana, as well as the loan signings of Ruben Vinagre and Conor Coady, if he does sign, he will become Everton’s sixth summer signing.
Despite being the club’s most impressive player in the preseason, scoring four goals in four matches, Kudus joins the English team because he is dissatisfied with coach Alfred Schreuder since the start of the season.
Kudus might play against Fleetwood Town on Tuesday in the second round of the Carabao Cup if Everton manages to complete a deal in time, the following weekend, a Premier League debut might occur away against Brentford.
Everton has made great strides in addressing the need for more talent and skill in the middle of the field, the dynamic 22-year-old offensive midfielder Mohamed Kudus is almost ready to be loaned out to Everton from Ajax Amsterdam.
The Ghana international has scored five goals for the Black Stars in just 16 caps, his electric pace and dribbling will certainly make him settle in and get used to the faster and more physical nature of the Premier League.
