Ahmed Musa, the Super Eagles captain, has increased the magnitude of his selfless act. He has opened a brand-new international school, which he has named after his parents.
The Super Eagles Captain has set an example for others in similar positions to follow by supporting widows and providing jobs for teenagers in his neighbourhood.
Among his Nigerian colleagues and team members, Musa stands out. His charitable deeds have received extensive media coverage. Musa is renowned for bringing comfort to Nigerians who have been battered by the nation’s present economic predicament in addition to supporting the less fortunate members of society.
In Nigeria, several people have testified about how Musa saved their cases when all hope had been lost. Musa’s humanitarian behaviour helped a neighbourhood club like Kanu Pillars when he rejoined the club on April 13, 2021, after he had departed in 2010.
Ahmed Musa, who scored twice against Iceland in Russia 2018 to make history by becoming the first Nigerian to score in two World Cups, will not appear in Qatar because his team didn’t make it this time.
The athletic striker, who is also the nation’s most-capped player with 107 appearances and holds the record for Nigeria in the FIFA World Cup with four goals, wanted to establish a name for himself in his native country because he loves it so deeply.
Musa was obliged to give back to his community after his football career since he was born on October 14, I992, in Jos, the Plateau State’s capital. He built an ultra-modern educational facility and dedicated it to his late parents.
Ahmed Musa is captured on film after unveiling the facility publicly, according to a correspondent for Ghana’s most authoritative sports website, www.atspo.com.
When Musa explained the idea of establishing an ultra-modern school and naming it after his parents, he said, “That was the only school I attended when I was growing up. When I heard they wanted to sell it, I decided to buy it, take it down, and do what you saw over there. I did that to ensure the poor also get to feel the kind of educational system the rich get. That is why I made sure it is the best school in my community and even the state.”
