On Monday, January 16, 2023, all nine betPawa Premier League games from match week 13 were successfully played at all league venues.

Great Olympics moved up to seventh after defeating Kotoku Royals 2-0 away. At Nana Koromansa Park, Aryeetey Ayikwei recorded a goal, making him score in two successive league games and allowing Samuel Abbey-Ashie to get his first goal of the season for Great Olympics.
Samuel Antwi netted his third goal of the season for King Faisal in the 41st minute; all three goals scored came at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium against Kotoku Royals, Accra Lions, and most recently against Tamale City.
Evans Adomako, formerly of Asante Kotoko, got his first goal for Karela United against league leaders Aduana Stars at Crosby Awuah Memorial Park, but the Aiyinase side still leads the clubs at the bottom of the league table with 16 points.
Dreams FC have been in their best form in their last five league games after going undefeated; in their previous five league games, the Theater of Dreams side has won three times, drawn twice, scored nine goals, and conceded one. They recorded a 3-1 win against Real Tamale United at home, making them the club with the highest number of goals scored in week 13.
The last two games came off last Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium, where Accra Lions won 2-1 against Berekum Chelsea. Samari Salifu and Seidu Bassit gave the home team a two-goal lead, but Afriyie Mezack increased his goal tally on the league’s top scorers chart to eight goals, and he was taken to the hospital after fainting during play, according to reports.
Steve Mukwala gave the visitors to Dun’s Park, Asante Kotoko, the lead with his first goal at an away venue after recording three goals at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, but a controversial penalty awarded to Bibiani Gold Stars allowed Adraman Yahaya to settle the score at 1-1, which maintained the Bibiani side’s unbeaten record.
