Week 22 of the betPawa Premier League began on Saturday, March 18th, and ended on Monday, March 20th, 2023.

Legon Cities, Bechem United, Hearts of Oak, Medeama, Nsoatreman, and Tamale Cities all won at home after Week 22, while the only away team to triumph at Nsenkyire Sports Stadium was Kumasi Asante Kotoko against FC Samartex.
Two games in Week 22 of the season came to a conclusion without a goal being scored: Real Tamale United’s match against Berekum Chelsea and King Faisal’s home game against Bibiani Gold Stars.

Dreams FC have lost three straight away games after Tamale City responded to their most recent loss to Accra Lions at Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on match week 20. Nafiu Sulemana scored for the home team in the second minute, Sampson Eduku scored a brace in the seventh and 67th minutes, and Ali Huzaif pulled one back for Dreams FC at 90+3.
Samartex FC suffered their second home defeat of the campaign, but Kumasi Asante Kotoko triumphed on their tenth attempt in their first away victory without coach Seydou Zerbo. Before Ebenezer Acquah scored a goal for the home team in the 89th minute, the away team had scored goals from Enoch Morrison and Rocky Dwamena.
Accra Lions were denied their third consecutive away win at Nana Konamansah Park by Nsoatreman FC, who maintained their dominance at home as the best home team of the season as three goals defeated Accra Lions. Mark Agyekum and former Hearts of Oak midfielder Abu Ushau each scored once, with Nana Kwame scoring his second goal of the year to round out the scoring.
Accra Great Olympics lost their fifth straight away game at Ackoon Park after Medeama FC secured their fourth straight home victory. Jonathan Sowah scored his third goal of the season, and Joshua Agyemang scored his second goal of the season as Medeama defeated Accra Great Olympics 2-0.
David Ocloo, in charge of Accra Hearts of Oak, played his third league game as he stayed unbeaten, and Caleb Amankwah rose to the occasion at the last minute of the game to head a free kick effected by Salifu Ibrahim at Accra Sports Stadium to deny bottom team Kotoko Royals a point.
Bechem United thrashed Karela United at Nana Gyeabour’s Park to keep pace in the race for the 2022–2023 league championship. In-form Hafiz Konkoni scored his tenth goal in the 20th minute, Isaac Nyarko added another in the 42nd, and Abdul Karim made it three for the Hunters in the 44th. To give the visitors some solace, Samuel Attah Kumi successfully converted a penalty kick.
Paa Kwesi Fabin and his Ogya boys were defeated by Maxwell Konadu’s Legon Cities team, as Aduana had lost their previous two away games. Legon Cities defeated the league leaders by two goals at the El Wak Stadium thanks to a brace from Michel Otou after they had drawn their previous two home games against Real Tamale United and Tamale City.
