His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, will meet with the bankers of Kumasi Asante Kotoko based on trustworthy information put together by the editors of www.atspo.com.
The direction of Asante Kotoko has been changed following the expiration of the 12-member Board of Directors; the former head coach has been reappointed; and a 4-member Interim Management Committee (IMC) has been formed.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Life Patron, paid his first visit to the club’s training ground, and the newly appointed Interim Management was announced by Opemsuo Radio, which broadcasts from Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The Interim Management Committee, which will take charge of Asante Kotoko SC until the club’s administration is restructured, is made up of Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awuah (Kontomponiaferehene and Chartered Accountant), former Ghana Black Stars coach Akwasi Appiah, Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, and Administrative Manager Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi.
The newly appointed Interim Management Committee’s primary responsibility is to recruit players ahead of the 2023–2024 season and to make explicit and meaningful player recruitment demands for funds in the Ghanaian transfer market.
His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the club’s Life Patron, will meet with the management of Access Bank on Monday, July 25, 2023, at the Manhyia Palace, during which senior Editor Raphael Atakorah Kofi can hint that new signatories to Kotoko’s official account will be a topic of discussion.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s first visit to the club’s training facility necessitated this meeting, as the club will conduct financial transactions in player transfers since the Ghana Football Association officially closes the Registration window on Friday, September 1, 2023.
After the envisioned meeting on Monday, the names of Asante Kotoko’s official Access Bank signatories will be communicated.
